The last dramatic days of Maria Callas, the world-famous opera singer, were followed by saddened Maria in 1970s Paris. She, a person who feels the weight of her fame alogether with the personal sacrifices that it gives her, deals with a thorough look at her nature and the choices that she lived with. Callas in her mind keeps going back to her past – her stormy affairs, the peaks and valleys of her career, the price of her success – the stage and the failure – and thus, she feels on the one hand lonely and, on the other one, she feels sorry.
